1. Tet Festival 2024

     Taking place in the picturesque setting of Phung Hung Street, Hoan Kiem, from January 25th to February 9th, Tet Pho 2024 is an event showcasing traditional folk products such as Hang Trong folk paintings, Kim Hoang paintings, Dong Ho paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, woven bamboo, and traditional toys... all brought by renowned artisans from various craft villages.

2. The Spring Calligraphy Festival and Calligraphy Exhibition

     From February 3rd, 2024, to February 19th, 2024, the Spring Calligraphy Festival and Calligraphy Exhibition will take place at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam. The main activities include calligraphy writing sessions, requesting calligraphy pieces, and an exhibition themed around filial piety in calligraphy. 

     Additionally, visitors can immerse themselves in the traditional educational examination atmosphere, learn about craft villages and handicrafts of Hanoi, and enjoy art performances and ethnic music and dance shows.

3. The 'Radiant Thang Long' Art Light Festival

     To welcome the Spring of the Year of the Dragon 2024, the People's Committee of Tay Ho District has collaborated to organize the 'Radiant Thang Long' Art Light Festival with the theme 'A Day in the Capital - A Thousand Years of History' on February 9th at Nguyen Dinh Thi Street, Trich Sai. 

     Residents of the capital will have the opportunity to admire the grandiose art light show featuring 2024 drones.

     The light festival will officially take place at 11:30 PM on February 9, 2024 at the intersection of Van Cao Street and West Lake in Hanoi. The entire Nguyen Dinh Thi (Nguyễn Đình Thi) - Trich Sai (Trích Sài) road is where spectators can enjoy the light show.

4. The Dong Da Mound Festival

     The Dong Da Mound Festival is held on February 13th and 14th at the historical site of Dong Da Mound. This annual event commemorates the merit and celebrates the glorious victory of the hero Nguyen Hue. 

     The festival features main activities such as ceremonies, processions of King Quang Trung and Queen Ngoc Han, lion and dragon dances, as well as epic performances reenacting the image of the Tay Son righteous army.

5. The Perfume Pagoda Festival

     The Perfume Pagoda is a renowned spiritual tourism destination near Hanoi. As every year, the pagoda holds its opening ceremony on the 6th day of the 1st lunar month (corresponding to the 15th day of the 2nd lunar month). 

     In addition to religious rituals, visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of places like Yen Stream and Huong Tich Cave.

6. The Soc Temple Festival of Saint Giong

     The Giong Festival is held from February 15th, 2024, to February 17th, 2024, at the Soc Temple Complex, located in Ve Linh hamlet, Phu Linh commune, Soc Son district. Two main annual activities include the ritual bathing of the statue of Saint Giong and the offering ceremony.

      Additionally, the festival features various interesting activities such as the 'bamboo flower snatching' tradition for good luck and theatrical performances depicting the battle scenes.

7. The Tan Vien Son Thanh Festival

     Taking place over two days on February 23rd, 2024, and February 24th, 2024, at the historical sites of Lower Temple, Middle Temple, and Upper Temple in Ba Vi district, the Tan Vien Son Thanh Festival is a special celebration to honor the Mountain Deity and pray for favorable weather in the upcoming year. 

     Besides the ritual of fetching water, the festival features numerous folk activities and games for visitors to participate in, such as stick pushing, mountain climbing, Chinese chess, tug-of-war, shuttlecock kicking, cockfighting, archery, wrestling, volleyball, and football.
