The Tet Nguyen Dan Giap Thin Flower Festival - 2024, with the theme "Spring of Love - Reunion Tet," will be held at Tao Dan Park from February 6th, 2024 (the 27th of the 12th lunar month in the Year of the Quy Mao) to February 15th, 2024 (the 6th day of the first lunar month in the Year of the Giap Thin). According to the plan, the opening ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm on February 6th, 2024 (the 27th of the 12th lunar month). The closing ceremony will be held at 5:30 pm on February 15th, 2024 (the 6th day of Tet).
Nguyen Hue Flower Street for Tet Giap Thin will serve the spring outing and sightseeing needs of city residents and tourists from 7:00 pm on February 7th, 2024 (the 28th of the 12th lunar month in the Year of the Quy Mao) to 9:00 pm on February 14th, 2024 (the 5th day of Tet Giap Thin). This marks the 21st year that Ho Chi Minh City has organized a spring outing space, providing a unique Tet experience for city residents and tourists from both domestic and international locations.
The flower street will have the theme "Spring of Love, Reunion Tet," stretching over 600 meters, divided into 3 main sections: "Roots of the homeland," "Crossing the river and sea," and the final section is "Integration and development."
This year, the flower street will make a strong impression right from the entrance with the pair of Dragon and Lotus mascots elegantly named "Twin Dragons with Lotus Thrones." In addition to setting a record for the size of zodiac animals ever appearing on Nguyen Hue Flower Street, this year's Dragon mascot is also environmentally friendly, with over 90% of the materials used in its structure being bamboo and woven bamboo blinds.
